Zen 2K27 Patch Tracker

NBA 2K27 Zen script status report, September 15, 2026

Where NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen scripts stand on September 15, 2026: Fadeaway 2.2, eight public builds, 59 Discord reviews, and seller prices as of 2026-09-14.

Fadeaway 2.2 for 2K27 has been the live build for 13 days. It released on 2026-09-02 and nothing has replaced it since. That is the whole headline, and it is a good sign rather than a quiet one, because the two weeks before it were the opposite.

Eight public builds have shipped for the 2K27 cycle so far. Version 2.2 is the current one.

The 2K patch question, answered honestly

Every status report on this game wants to open with a patch number and a date. I do not have one I can verify in our product data as of September 15, so I am not printing one. What I can verify is the script side: build 2.2 (2K27), released 2026-09-02, four menu categories, static install, last updated 09.02.26.

If a seller page gives you a 2K patch number with no source next to it, treat it as decoration.

What 2.2 actually changed

The 2.1 build did the tuning work. It set measured defaults against real full-meter numbers: stand 600, move 613, right run fade 885, left run fade 759. The global offset for online play starts at 550ms, and the menu prints real milliseconds instead of abstract steps.

Then 2.2 cleaned up everything around those numbers.

The menu only repaints when something changes, so scrolling and the vibration cues land instantly. Opening and closing the menu without an edit no longer writes a save. Quick taps on the timing modes and the L1/R1 binds are held for 40ms instead of a single 10ms report, which is the difference between a steal registering and a steal being swallowed. The idle screen and starfield only redraw while the controller is quiet, so a Zen screen repaint never lands on top of a live input mid-play.

Release detection is debounced at 20ms across the board. Fluttering buttons cannot machine-gun pump fakes.

BUTTON REMAP replaced the old AI button tempo entry. You bind Square/X, L1/LB or R1/RB, hold it, and the script owns the release on your tuned number. There is no OFF choice in that menu, because BTN MODE NATIVE is the off switch. Old saves that sat on OFF migrate to Square.

TURBO SHOTS and RS SHOOTING came out. Sprint plus movement now routes run fades on its own, and STEP BACK is called MOVE SHOT.

The numbers I check in the product data

When I pull the Fadeaway registry, I look at four things before I read a single feature bullet: the build string, the last-updated stamp, the number of public builds, and whether saves migrate. Right now that reads 2.2 (2K27), 09.02.26, eight builds, and dual-bank saves that pause on gameplay input and carry earlier Fadeaway values forward.

My own habit is to flash, then sit in a practice gym and tune STAND to my full meter with the L2 quick tune before I touch anything else. The quick tune reacts after 0.2 seconds of standing still and the readout stays on the Zen screen for the whole eight second window, so there is no rush.

My take: the save migration matters more than any single feature, because a script that resets your tuned values on every update quietly costs you a week of re-tuning across the season.

What the desk saw in the Discord this week

The public reviews page is sitting at 59 written reviews, shown with Discord handles and dates. The Discord itself lists 5,900+ members.

Reading the last week of entries, almost none of them are about features. They are about setup help, one person walking another through fade values, someone getting their stand number pinned down. Dated Sep 7 to Sep 14, the pattern is consistent: the tuning is the work, and the community is where the tuning gets done.

That tells you what to budget time for. Not the install, the numbers.

Price check across 2K27 sellers

VeraScripts makes Fadeaway, so read the first row with that in mind. Competitor figures are as of 2026-09-14 and come from each seller's own page. The Fadeaway figure is verified as of 2026-09-15.

Script Maker Price Install
Fadeaway VeraScripts $50 one time Browser flash, static build
Peak SkyGPC $60, regular $120 .gpc file via Zen Studio
yew2K yew.gg $64.99, regular $64.99 Web programmer plus a 1-on-1 setup call
Ark joinark.gg $55, regular $75 Single .gpc via Zen Studio
GreenLock 2K27 nba2k27zenscript.com $49.99, regular $99.99 .gpc via Zen Studio, about 5 minutes

On proof, as of 2026-09-14: Peak's page claims 4.9 stars from 1,170 reviews and 14,000 users, and yew2K's page claims 4.6 stars from 1,298 reviews and 17,942 users. Ark and GreenLock publish none. Claimed counts on a seller's own site are not the same as named, dated reviews you can scroll, which is the standard the VeraScripts reviews page is built to.

The one thing to check before your next Rec session

Check your GLOBAL value, and check it between games rather than during one.

Online adds delay. GLOBAL exists to move every shot type at once so your offline numbers stay untouched, and the rule is simple: up if you are early, down if you are late. Your stand, move and fade values were tuned in a quiet gym. Rec is not a quiet gym, and the server you get tonight is not the server you got yesterday.

Do that one check and most of the "it worked offline" complaints disappear.

No script removes account risk, and nobody can promise how the game's enforcement will behave. Tune it, save it, and play inside that.

Where Fadeaway lives

Fadeaway is $50 one time for the 2K27 year, which covers the script, every update through the cycle, support and the guides. The product page is at verascripts.com/fadeaway, and every public build with its shipped notes is at verascripts.com/blog/fadeaway-patch-notes.

If you play more than 2K, Vera+ is $99 one time and covers eight released scripts plus future drops: verascripts.com/vera-plus.

Setup questions are answered fastest in the Discord, which is where the people writing those reviews are.

Frequently asked questions

What is the current Fadeaway build for NBA 2K27?

Fadeaway 2.2 (2K27), released 2026-09-02 and last updated 09.02.26. Eight public builds have shipped during the 2K27 cycle. Every build and the notes that shipped with it are listed at verascripts.com/blog/fadeaway-patch-notes.

Do my tuned values survive an update?

Yes. Fadeaway uses dual-bank saves that pause writes on gameplay input and migrate earlier Fadeaway saves forward automatically. Re-flash the current build and your settings and profiles carry over. The 2.2 notes state this directly for saves coming from 2.1.

What should I change when I move from offline tuning to online play?

Only GLOBAL. Online adds delay, and GLOBAL shifts every shot type at once so your offline stand, move and fade values stay untouched. Nudge it up if you are releasing early, down if you are late, and do it between games rather than mid-possession. The global offset starts at 550ms.

What are the default numbers in 2.1 and 2.2?

Stand 600, move 613, right run fade 885, left run fade 759, with the Auto Go To hold at 2250ms. The timing menu prints real milliseconds. You tune STAND to your own full meter first, using the L2 quick tune after a shot.

How much does Fadeaway cost and is there a subscription?

$50 one time for the 2K27 year. That covers the script, every update during the cycle, support and the guides. There is no subscription for new customers. As of 2026-09-14, competing 2K27 scripts listed $49.99 to $64.99 on their own pages.

Is a Cronus Zen script safe to use online?

No script removes account risk, and nobody can tell you how the game's enforcement will behave. Treat any page that claims otherwise as unreliable. What you can control is your own setup: tune offline, save your values, and adjust GLOBAL between games.
